I've always believed that movement should help us live better.

Not by chasing the perfect pose, but by building a body that supports the life we want to live.

When I teach, I'm not thinking about what a pose looks like. I'm thinking about why it matters. How does it help us move through everyday life with more strength, balance, mobility or confidence? How does it help us keep doing the things we love?

That's why every class I teach has a purpose.

My hope is that you'll leave each practice feeling more connected to your body, appreciating what it can do today, and confident that movement can continue to support you for many years to come.

Because ageing isn't about doing less.

It's about moving well enough to keep saying yes to the life you want to live.

I'd love to help you do exactly that.

My Why

I didn't set out to teach this way.

My own yoga journey began with Ashtanga, a disciplined practice built around a set sequence. But as I looked for ways to adapt movement for different bodies, I realised I needed a different approach -one that could meet people where they were, rather than asking them to fit a particular practice.

That realisation led me to train as a teacher.

As I began teaching, something unexpected happened. Students weren't telling me they could hold a pose for longer or stretch a little further. They were telling me they could brush their hair more comfortably. They found it easier to get up from the floor. Everyday tasks felt easier.

Those conversations changed the way I thought about yoga.

Then life reminded me of the same lesson.

Menopause, ageing and living with the realities of my own changing body meant I had to adapt again. Poses that had once felt effortless no longer did. I discovered, first-hand, that movement isn't about holding on to what we used to do. It's about finding new ways to keep moving well.

That's why I teach the way I do today.

I believe movement is always possible. It doesn't stop because we age. It simply changes as we do.

Every class I teach is designed to honour that belief, helping you build strength, balance, mobility and confidence in ways that support the life you want to keep living.
